The last few days have been fairly slow but there are still some important injuries to get to, so before you set your lineups take a look at the following stories:

-The Boston Red Sox training staff has been very busy lately; Dustin Pedroia is set to return today, while outfielder Mark Kotsay could return as soon as next week.  It also appears that John Smoltz will be throwing in big league games within a month!

-Luis Rodriguez, San Diego Padres shortstop, is headed to the DL after spraining his ankle while running the bases in last night’s game at Wrigley Field.

-Baltimore Orioles slugger Adam Jones left last night’s game early due to a slight hamstring strain, which will likely keep him out for a day or two.  The Orioles announced that outfield prospect Nolan Reimold will be in uniform on Thursday, and could take Jones' spot in the order.

-The Daily Herald is reporting that Aramis Ramirez is still suffering from shoulder pain, which stems back to a dislocated shoulder that he suffered at Miller Park this past weekend.

-Both John Lackey and Ervin Santana of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim of California of The United States of America will make their season debuts in the next few days.  Make sure that  these guys are rostered in all of your leagues, because both of them are outstanding pitchers.

-Dontrelle Willis overcame anxiety disorder and started up north last night in Twinkietown, Minnesota where he almost lasted five innings.  He received a no-decision.

-Tampa Bay Rays speedster Carl Crawford will likely miss a game or two due to a bruised shoulder that he suffered while making a diving catch last night.

To save you from boredom, we’re going to have to cut off the action there for this week due to a lack of news, but be sure to keep checking back on a daily basis for the latest fantasy baseball news.  Tune in to hear my opinion on all things baseball at 4 pm Eastern Time and with Brian Joura at 7 pm Eastern Time at BlogTalkRadio.com’s fantasy sports channel!
